Stephanie Kalen

Stephanie is a Patent Agent with expertise in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, and is involved in preparing and prosecuting patent applications relating a wide variety of Electrical and Mechanical technologies.

Prior to joining Sughrue, Stephanie was a Mechanical Design Engineer at Schlumberger where she designed and analyzed subsea oil and gas products and equipment, including subsea wellheads, subsea trees, subsea connectors, and subsea manifolds.  During the latter half of her time with Schlumberger she focused solely on subsea manifolds as a Subsea Manifold Engineer where she gained experience with manifold design and manufacture, structural design, piping and fluid mechanics, valve technologies, seal technologies, and pressure-containing and retaining components.   Stephanie also has experience in the mechanical and structural design of aerospace technologies including airplanes, satellites, and launch vehicles.
