Nelson D. Runkle

Nelson has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications with a focus on technologies related to the electrical arts, including display panels, input devices, semiconductor devices, optics, computer ‎hardware, software architectures, digital multimedia broadcasting, telecommunications ‎systems, and information storage and retrieval systems.‎

Prior to joining Sughrue, Nelson worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) from 2010 to 2014.  During his time at the USPTO, Nelson examined patent applications related to visual display systems in Art Unit 2693.
