Matthew is a patent attorney working in the firm’s electromechanical practice group, with a strength on patent prosecution, intellectual property strategy, and client counseling. Although particularly adept in the burgeoning field of semiconductor technology, his expertise spans a wide variety of innovative pursuits, including: OLED displays, IC packaging & design, 3D memory, sensors, MEMS devices, quantum computers, electric heating, audio devices, data processing & control systems; and measuring, calibrating, & testing systems.
Having previously excelled as a primary patent examiner at the USPTO, Matthew developed an extensive understanding of the patent examination process, which allows him to confidently navigate the intricate landscape of patent law, streamline the prosecution process, and enhance the likelihood of successfully procuring patent protection for his clients.
