Jun Fei Zhong

Jun Fei is a member of the Electrical/Mechanical Group, and has worked with some of the largest and most sophisticated technology companies in China. He has extensive experience in handling patent applications in a variety of technology areas, including video coding, gaming, television systems, networking, wireless communications, cellular devices, artificial intelligence, Internet-related services, and e-cigarette devices.

In addition to patent prosecution and IP strategy (patent portfolio planning), Jun Fei has experience in patent validity and freedom to operate (FTO) opinions. Prior to joining Sughrue Mion, Jun Fei was as a senior IP counsel at a pharmaceutical company, as an IP director at an e-cigarette device company in Shenzhen, as a senior IP counsel at a Chinese multinational technology company in Shenzhen for all patent related matters, and as a patent examiner at the USPTO, mainly in the area of ​​interactive video distribution.
