James Pawlowski is an associate in the Washington, DC office of Sughrue Mion PLLC, where his practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution across a wide range of electrical engineering, software, and mechanical technologies.
James’s technical experience includes artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, including mixture-of-experts models; 5G cellular network technologies and standards; semiconductor manufacturing and design; video encoding technologies; display and touch panel systems; distributed computing systems; and electronic components for medical and consumer devices. He has also worked on matters involving consumer products such as NFT-linked product authentication systems, child sleep systems, and air filtration technologies.
In addition to patent prosecution, James has experience preparing ex parte reexamination requests related to wireless networking standards, including IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, and drafting freedom-to-operate and non-infringement opinions for mechanical and electrical systems.
