Bruce handles patent application preparation and prosecution, infringement, validity and patentability opinions, and other patent matters related to chemical technology.

Bruce received his degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia and subsequently worked as an engineer at the Babcock & Wilcox Co. in Ohio prior to joining Sughrue.  Bruce handles applications in a wide variety of technologies, including polymers, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, green technology, batteries, LCDs, ceramics, alloys, agricultural chemicals, textiles, and engineering processes.

Bruce travels to Japan every year to visit clients, where he gives lectures on topics of interest including recent developments in U.S. patent law. He has also lectured in China, Taiwan, and Switzerland. Mr. Kramer was named a "Top Patent Prosecutor" by the Patent Research Review (Patent Buddy 2011).
