Mr. Ahmed's practice focuses on procuring patents in the electrical and mechanical arts, particularly preparing and prosecuting patent applications relating to electrical motor control systems, flywheel rotors, database management, semiconductor devices, electrical circuits, image processing software, data storage devices, Internet applications, digital cameras, and various types of machinery.  His technical experience includes designing embedded systems and programming microprocessors to be implemented in different environments such as in automobiles, appliances, and other devices.

Aeronautical Radio Inc. (ARINC), Computer Engineering Intern - ported software from IBM AIX to Linux platform; resolved issues such as scheduling priorities, endiannness/byte ordering and socket connection setup; independently wrote a 40-page report documenting the three-month software port process for software engineering team; conducted oral presentation of the port-process to senior engineers and management identifying key issues to make future code more portable.

Northrop Grumman, Network Engineering Intern - traveled throughout the U.S. as part of a Network Migration Project Team; installed CISCO network gear and helped cut-over the new network on-site; calculated power requirements for Northrop Grumman network migration equipment; configured and initialized network tools to be installed in LAN room's on-site.
