Cindy Weber Managing Partner

Mrs. Weber is the Managing Partner of Sughrue Mion, PLLC.  Her practice encompasses all aspects of trademark, unfair competition and copyright litigation, prosecution, licensing and counseling. Her experience includes trademark clearance, opinions and registration, due diligence, worldwide portfolio management, licensing, domain name disputes and extensive litigation in the federal courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mrs. Weber joined the firm as an attorney in 1978, following a clerkship at the D.C. Court of Appeals, and became a partner in 1983.  Among her many distinctions, Mrs. Weber has been named, through peer review, as one of the top 25 trademark lawyers in the world in each issue of the Euromoney Legal Media Group's  "Best of the Best"  Expert Guide - a guide to top legal practitioners across eleven areas of law and in each issue of the Euromoney Legal Media Group's  Guide To The World's Leading Experts In Trademark Law.  Most recently, Ms. Weber was honored by the Legal Times as one of Washington DC's Top Ten Trademark and Copyright lawyers.
