Sughrue Mion, PLLC, in conjunction with the University of Akron School of Law, presents the Eighth Annual Richard C. Sughrue Symposium on Intellectual Property Law and Policy. This year's program will focus on Patent Law Reform. The date of the symposium is March 13, 2006 and will be held at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio. The conference will begin at 8:30 and end at 5:00 p.m.

The featured luncheon speaker will be Susan S. DeSanti, Deputy General Counsel for Policy Studies at the Federal Trade Commission. Ms. DeSanti played an integral role in the studies of the patent system which subsequently led to the introduction of the pending patent reform bill.
