Sughrue Partner Susan Pan to Participate in a Discussion on the Patent Life Cycle at AIPLA's Spring Meeting
As part of a discussion on the "Patent Life Cycle", Sughrue partner Susan Pan will present a paper on evaluating options for appeal vs. continued ex parte prosecution before the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office. The presentation will be complemented by a discussion of "best practices" for defining Intellectual Property ownership within an organization and strategic prosecution to secure valuable patent rights. These presentations will take place during the 2003 Spring Meeting of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. The meeting will be held at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia from May 14-16.
