Sughrue Operational Status During Coronavirus

Dear Clients and Friends,


As we continue to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus, Sughrue recognizes that many of our clients may be negatively affected by this global outbreak.  As always, our focus is the safety and well-being of our clients and employees, and our thoughts are with those who have been impacted. To that end, we stand ready to work with those experiencing difficulty as a result, and we are taking the necessary steps to avoid potential disruptions of service to our clients.



Please be assured that in the event of a lockdown in the area of one of our offices, Sughrue has the capacity and infrastructure to stay fully functional.  All of our employees (attorneys & staff) have the ability and training to securely telework from remote locations, and our IT infrastructure is built with this very scenario in mind - to allow the entire Firm to work remotely at the same time.


Further, out of an abundance of caution, and as part of our ongoing efforts to protect the health of our employees and clients, Sughrue has enacted new international and domestic business travel restrictions, and new approval requirements for Sughrue-hosted events. We also continue to share health and wellness information, including prevention tips from the Center for Disease Control and NIH, with employees.


While it is impossible for anyone to predict the spread of the coronavirus and fully understand its impact, it does not alter Sughrue’s focus on continuing to serve you.
