Cindy Weber, Managing Partner of Sughrue Mion PLLC, has been named one of the ten "Leading Lawyers" in the Washington D.C. area in the Trademark and Copyright practice field by Legal Times, the area’s primary legal trade newspaper. Cindy’s selection was made through the paper’s own reporting and analysis. In addition to Trademark and Copyright the paper chose three other practice areas: corporate governance, government affairs and real estate and has identified ten leading lawyers in each of those practice fields, as well. The paper has now asked its subscribers to vote for one of the ten lawyers in each group and plans to announce the one Leading Lawyer for each group at a dinner to be held in December.
Sughrue is proud of Cindy’s accomplishments and pleased that others also recognize her talents. While devoting considerable time and effort to the management of Sughrue Mion’s world-wide practice and administering its offices in Washington, California and Tokyo, Cindy’s legal expertise continues to be recognized in her specialty area, a particularly remarkable feat. In addition to this honor Cindy also is internationally recognized by her peers in the peer selected "Best of The Best", Managing Intellectual Property’s bi annual publication of the top 25 Trademark Lawyers in each country and Who’s Who Legal, also a peer nominated international listing of the best trademark lawyers.
